When a man loves you, not seeing you for a week, feels like forever.  So, if he wants to see you he has to let you know early in the week, because SGTV ladies  simply can’t put their life on hold; you’re a busy girl remember! so if he calls Thursday, you sweetly say… ‘Oh I’m so sorry, I’ve already made plans’.

I reiterate: If he doesn’t call you by Wednesday evening for a weekend date, then no date for him.

Why?  Have you ever been in the state where you’re constantly looking at the phone, double-checking if he’s called or simply just wondering as the days go by if he’s going to ask you out?  This simple guideline takes away that walking on edge feeling, living on his ‘timeline’   This way you get to relax and live by your standards, your boundaries.

• If you ever decline a Saturday night invite, don’t suggest an alternative night – that’s classed as pursuing.
• Be firm, no explanations necessary – it’s none of his business
• Be sweet with it – you’re a nice bitch ( acronym for: ‘babe in total control of herself’)
• Don’t chastise him for not calling earlier – sends out message you were hoping he’d call, which lessons the intensity of his chase, as he knows  you like him.

I can hear some of you girls saying, ‘yeah but what about spontaneity!? Living for the moment!’ That’s all well and good but save that for after the date has been set and keep it within the framework of the ‘date’.

These guidelines are for setting boundaries, for the longevity or your relationship, as how a man treats you now is how he’ll treat you in a marriage.  So train him up now.  If he’s a last-minute man with you now, don’t you think this will continue in a marriage.  You don’t want a man who feels he can get you in a minute!
